So far I am down 3 lbs. I am not hungry, which is good. I tried the South Beach diet last year and that worked but took a lot of control and a lot of preparing, etc. Also quite pricey. This diet has a lot of the same qualities, however, goes in quicker phases. The drops are for 23 days, 2 of those were eat like you normally do with the drops, then start the 500 calorie meal. Although it sounds scary, only eating 500 calories, when doing the research it makes sense. However, I am on day 2 of the 500 calorie diet and I feel so full...
So really I am on day 4 all together, I will continue to take the drops until I am 21 days of the 500 calorie diet, continue to eat the 500 calorie diet for 3 days, then move into what is called phase 3 which is increased to 1200-1500 calories, then to do this for 3 weeks and keep losing hopefully or at least maintain the weight I have lost, then restart.
My goal is to loose probably close to 50-60 lbs, I hide my weight well....but wow did that scale make me want to cry... I am going to shoot to keep losing 1 lb a day, as that is the results expected from this diet. So yesterday I lost 2 lbs, yippie, however, today I am still shooting for 1 lb.
This diet doesn't require excessive excerise and frowns upon it. Which is great when you work full time, go to school, and run the house...
I plan on posting pictures and taking measurements tonight to see how this goes.
